Fabio Prado Saldanha is a professional in communications having many years of experience in the cultural field both in Quebec and in Brazil, as well as in the public and private spheres. He holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Business Management (Management des entreprises culturelles – HEC Montréal) and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications (Radio & TV specialisation – Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation, São Paulo, Brazil). Having developed research projects in creativity and innovation in a number of sectors – from automotive to aerospace, from microfinance to citizen engagement of Canada’s First Nations’ youth – he has published in scientific journals such as New Space, International Journal of Case Studies in Management (IJCSM), Technology Innovation Management Review, Revista Brasileira de Casos de Ensino e Administração and the Harvard Business Review. Quebecker of Brazilian origin, he is interested in critical, discursive and post-colonialist approaches to social innovation and social technology.
